Talentify brought Malaysia’s Xiaohongshu creator community together for a relaxed Mid-Autumn celebration where everyone could eat, play, share and build genuine connections beyond the screen.
Mid-Autumn Festival is a celebration of reunion, appreciation and togetherness. Talentify’s Xiaohongshu Mooncake Gathering in Malaysia created a welcoming space for creators to meet in person, enjoy food and celebrate the festival as a community.
Rather than a formal marketing event, the gathering focused on participation and connection. Every activity gave creators an easy way to start conversations, share laughter and get to know one another.
Food is an important part of every Mid-Autumn celebration. Creators gathered around the table to eat, share mooncakes and catch up with one another in a relaxed setting.
Between activities, everyone had time to talk, take photos and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Sharing a meal helped new connections form naturally.
One of the highlights was a lively bingo game that brought friendly competition and plenty of energy to the gathering. Creators listened closely, marked their cards and cheered as the game progressed.
The simple group activity quickly filled the room with laughter as everyone waited to see who would complete a bingo line first.
Another memorable activity was the 夹红豆 challenge. Participants used chopsticks to pick up and transfer small red beans as quickly and carefully as possible.
The game looked simple, but it required patience, concentration and steady hands. Friends watched, encouraged the players and laughed along, making it one of the gathering’s most entertaining moments.
Creators also joined a lantern activity inspired by Mid-Autumn traditions. As part of the activity, participants wrote names on the lanterns and used them in a playful get-to-know-you game.
It was a creative way to remember the people they had met, while the finished lanterns added colour and festive character to the celebration.
The Xiaohongshu Mooncake Gathering Malaysia also included a sharing session where creators exchanged experiences, ideas and perspectives from their content journeys.
They discussed creating for Xiaohongshu, growing their accounts and overcoming common challenges. The conversation gave participants a chance to learn from one another and discover how much they shared in common.
Malaysia’s Xiaohongshu community continues to grow across lifestyle, beauty, food, fashion, travel and many other interests. Offline gatherings make that digital community feel more personal.
